I have just started using makeup, anyone know good styles for the eye?

I have just started using makeup and I want to know how to apply it and what type of styles. I like black on the eyes but not to much to look goth or emo. what shades could I use for my young funky look.


P.S I am also girly that might help with colours and stuff.

My best advice is do not overdo it. If you're trying to appear more mature, remember the adage ';less is more';. I personally like to blend colors which coordinate well. If you have blue eyes, brown and orange eyeshadow combined will make them pop! No matter what colors you choose, I always prefer the darkest colors on the bottom towards your eyelash. Then slightly overlap the next color. Use a sheer shadow or a light color next, following the same process. In the end, you will have beautiful, classy eye shadow.





As far as eyeliner, I prefer to apply it on the inside of my eye, but you should probably start with a thin coat beneath the eye. NEVER USE LIQUID EYELINER AS A BEGINNER! It takes a steady hand.





Mascara is pretty self explanatory. I personally love Voluminous by Loreal.





If you're blond...avoid black eyeshadow and mascara. Don't hide your fair nature!I have just started using makeup, anyone know good styles for the eye?

You know for beginners the best thing to do is watch some more experienced girls tutorials. Youtube is filled with great girls that show many diverse styles and are very detailed with what products they use and demonstrate how they do it.
