What eye makeup looks good with a black dress?

for senior ball im wearing a black dress with silver beads (%26amp; navy blue but you can hardly tell). im probably going to wear silver lave up heels or black heels i have already %26amp; i have a silver clutch im bringing with me. but what color eye makeup should i have? would black be overpowering? im going to MAC to get it done. maybe navy blue? help me out! %26amp; if you have any good picture links of something you think would look good, please post it! thank you! :)What eye makeup looks good with a black dress?

get the cat eye look...do silver on the inside of your lid and light shimmer black around the outside.
I think it's less about what you're wearing and more about your eye color. The make up artist will use a flattering color and make it ';smokey'; looking.
