i'm like you i love the whole mod style:)
okay to start off:
your going to need mascara- try a different brand then the one you were using so it dosn't kill your eyes and make sure it's water proof. apply many coats. back in the 60's the whole point was to have dramatic lashes. i'd use a black color too by the way.
next is eyeliner- your going to want to use either jet black or dark navy liquid eyeliner. and apply it in dramatic sweeps aross the top of your eyelids...darting it out at the sides.
foundation/powder- make sure to get one in your skin tone but in a shade lighter then you normally would. the whole look was to be very pale with dark eyes.
lips- dark red lipstick.
presto one mod chick look:DMOD (not modest) 60s style EYE MAKEUP?
mod style eye makeup is thick black eyeliner on your upper lid. use liquid liner, it's difficult at first, but you get the hang of it. :D
for inspiration - think twiggy or audrey hepburn
ps - don't smudge it the makeup. it's not smokey, it's stark.
I'd say black (even if it might seem 'emo') on both the top and bottom with white shimmer on the inner corners. Mascara really does help this look though, i'd look for a mascara for sensitive eye lashes, it really completes the look :]
Deff. loads of eyeliner on the top, but wigned out (that way it wont look as ';emo-ish';). Plenty of lengthing mascara for sensitive eyes, sorry, but its a must. And if youw anna have some fun you can put sparkles, kinda like this pic of audrey hepburn... (in sources)
Referencing the old Twiggy pics, I'd say that black is the best choice. I'd go heavier on the top with the eyeliner (possibly winged if you're into that), and very heavy on the mascara. I don't think that bright colors were much a part of it (on the face, anyway :]).
