Smoky eye makeup - celeb style?

I have an event coming up and i really want to recreate the sexy smoky eye shadow look that the celebs seem to do so well.... it will just totally complete my whole look for the night! Does anyone know how they do this or does anyone where i can learn how to do this?Smoky eye makeup - celeb style?
if you want step by step instructions you need to visit Beauty Heaven - they have a full page on how to create the look easily., they even go further and suggest which eyeshadow (brand and colour), eye liner to use to get the best effect. This will most certainly give you good results. checkout the link:

I do this style all the time! Just get a good eyeliner pencil with a soft end for blending. Apply a good amount of liner at the lash line, and then smear it with the blending side. Also, for the upper area (below brow) use a light color of eyeshadow... MAC has a great skin-toned one that is gorgeous.

: )
go to youtube.com and search ';instructions on getting the smokey look'; or something like that. There was a video on there that really helped me get the perfect smokey look.

good luck!

^^this one is my favorite!
if you want to create a sexy smoky eyes..u need to use a darker colors of eyeshadow like black, dark brown. use black eyeliner and after you put eyeliner smudge it to get a sultrier look...after that apply black or dark brown eyeshadow using ur fingertips and smudge it..use black mascara to get a sexy look....
It really depends on what style you're going for, and your skin tones. For example if you want a slightly more cat-like smoky eye then try doing wings on the sides; first you line your eyes with liquid eye liner, then you use either a charcoal or plumb or maybe even an espresso and using a small brush sweep the eye shadow from the inside of your eye lid to the outside and then sweep it upwards at the ends creating a triangle shape at the end of the lid. Another possible way is to use liquid eye liner and line your eye lids and then sweep the liquid eye liner up at the end towards the outside of the eye. I really hope this helps, also if you ever need other make up tips allure.com is really good, and cosmomag.com as well.
