My eyes are really dark and i want to make them look lighter, how should i do my eye makeup?

i have almost black eyes on some some days. it makes my face look so boring how do i make them look lighter? My eyes are really dark and i want to make them look lighter, how should i do my eye makeup?
first of all, choose green or mustard color shirts, it will bring out the different color flecks in your eyes you dont normally see. also, try lining the inside of your eyes with a white eyeliner, it will brighten up your eyes.....My eyes are really dark and i want to make them look lighter, how should i do my eye makeup?
If its under the eyes that is dark get a Green cover stick you can get them from Boots chemist or Body shop, this counteracts the red/brown that is under the eyes and makes them look much fresher, I use it alot .and you cant tell its green once its on.

Green eyeshadow makes brown eyes look browner, so if you dont like brown eyes avoid this.

Coloured contacts ?

Or use a thin line of eyeliner on the upper lid with a creamy shadow to open up the eye area, apply lots of mascara on the top lashes and a little on the bottom to lift the eyes,

Smile .....this makes all the difference as it lights up your eyes naturally.
well experiment with clothes, some clothe colors will make your eyes a different color, and use a while liner to make it lighter (on bottom lash line) and use a light and springy green (a mix between green and yellow) on top. thats for a day look. for a night look keep your eyes dark (for mystery) and use color to make them pop. or use light colors like yellows, greens, purples and sometimes just a pop of color will add some OOMPH to the day like a teal

hope this works out :)
You some make up 2 make it look lighter or try you using eyeshadow to make you eyes come out instead of looking dark
DON'T use black eye liner use either white or neutral eyeliner.

I used to have dark brown eyes and now i have green eyes too. My skin is light tan right now too. I tan pretty easily too. My hair is light brown right now and it changes too. Brown makes my eyes really pop. but since you have dark green eyes I recomend purple. That will really make them pop.
Brown eye shadow, CVS has this color scheme that has tan, brown, and a light gold called ';bring out the green'; and ';play up the green'; has the colors, light green, dark green, and purple!
    PURPLE...
    purples and browns.

I'm looking for eye makeup glitter..any suggestions?

I'm going to Vegas this weekend and I want something that will stay on for a long time.I'm looking for eye makeup glitter..any suggestions?
    M鈥鈥

    works amazing.

    or

    URBAN DECAY.

:)I'm looking for eye makeup glitter..any suggestions?
I've seen alot of glittery makeup, go check out the makeup stores in the mall. They even have blue pink and red glittery eyeliners
MAC has the longest lasting, shimmery or glittery eyeshadow and they may actually have a liner with glitter. Also they may have an eye primer for shadows that help the make-up stay on. I use one from MAry Kay but I believe clinque has a good one too.
M.A.C works great! Apply it with a little water and it will stay forever!
The body shop has some great makeup. I worked there for a while and it seemed to stay on for quite a long time!
Rimmel Metallic Eye Gloss in Kensington. :) pretty and silver and stays on for a while.
I use an eye glitter make-up called Aqua-proof. It comes in lots of colors and looks fantastic! I'm sure you'll love it! You can get it pretty much anywhere, but it's not just some cheap generic stuff, it's really good!

Guys, do you like the ';smoky eye'; makeup look on women?

I read somewhere recently that men love the ';smoky'; eye makeup (like what Avril Lavigne and Kiera Knightly wear)...

I was just wondering if it's true?

Because every guy I've asked says he prefers little to no eye-makeup on women.

Thoughts?Guys, do you like the ';smoky eye'; makeup look on women?
I wear really dark eye make up usually, and guys tell me it looks good. I guess it depends on what the girl looks like, %26amp; what the guy likes.

Does anyone know how i can make my eye makeup look like this....?

    http://img247.imageshack.us/img247/9342/b000ndjgr201ss500sclzzzjo7.jpg

I HAVE A CARMEL COMPLECTION BUT VERY PALE LOOKING IN THE FACIAL AREA... ALSO IM GOING TO BE GOING FROM BLONDISH TO THE COLOR SHE HAS. I LOVE HER LOOK IT SEEMS MYSTERIOUS SO CAN ANYONE HELP IVE TRIED BEFORE AND TURN OUT LOOKING LIKE A SCARE CROW ...THNX FOR ANY TIPS!!!Does anyone know how i can make my eye makeup look like this....?
First make sure to apply a good layer of foundation and powder to make sure that the lower eyelid makeup does not start to spread to give you that ';under eye';circle of black. make sure to use a little concealer right below the eye as well.

I listed my website below. Im going to show you some products, you can go to the page click on shop then ';search'; the products I am talking about. this will show you the colors. you can choose to shop online through avon and have it mailed directly to you, or take the advice and purchase your own products (the ones Im going to show you are all products that I do andhave used)

For the liner use black. For this type of makeup though, believe it or not, the line is very thin with the liner. (glimmersticks is my favorite all day lasting liner look at ';blackest black'; 400-242)

Take a base coat of shadow (like rich creme 509-157 or nude 332-731) and apply it over the crease of your eye (higher on the outside to lighten and smooth the color)

Then use an eyeshadow brush (like all over brush 399-228)

And apply a black shadow on the top of the lid , unlike most of the looks right now instead of going higher on the outside, she has gone higher on the inside. The tip to making this look good, is dont pass the line of your outer nostril (put a pen (or straight long object) and hold it vertically againt your nostril up towards your eyebrow, do not go passed the pen when apply makeup) Also, dont go all the way into your brow, go right up to it, but leave a little of the skin color. Make sure the color is concentrated more towards the eye, and have it lighter the higher on the eye you go

Then for the lower liduse a thin liner brush (like Marks 412-257 eyeliner brush) and do a very smooth line of the same color shadow you choose to use on your upper lid.

For these colors, if you want to use 2 shades to blend in and create a better ';blended color'; look, use a color like night sky 509-123 closer to the eye, and blend in with a brush on the higher colors something like steel 473-443 or marks retro peacock 058-118

After you are done, make sure to take a tissue and wipe off any makeup that has spread, touch up your foundation or powder around the eye, and use a really good mascara to pop the lashes.

If you have questions let me know~!!!Does anyone know how i can make my eye makeup look like this....?
if you print that picture and take it to a make up shop..or in macy's and places like that in the make up section, someone there can help you out and actually be there with you to show you how to do it rather then reading on how to do it yourself...good luck!
make up company e.l.f (eyes lips face) have a good ';get this look'; section which tells you how to get looks like this to match your own colouring...

What makeup looks best with really blue eyes?

I love eyeliner but its the only thing i use, also what kind of eyeliner goes on really black and doesnt wash off? What makeup looks best with really blue eyes?
As far as the eyeliner part, I use estee lauder liquid eyeliner, it's waterproof so it never budges throughout the day. It's a little bit pricey but worth it. If you want to buy something for the drugstore, just buy something that is liquid and waterproof.

As for other makeup for blue eyes, it kind of depends on whether you are fair or tanned. If your are tan, white eyeshadow really brings out blue eyes. If you're fair, it will just wash you out. I have blue eyes and am pretty fair and I use eyeshadow from clinique. It's the high impact eyeshadow quad in spicy. It has a dark pink color, a gold color and also a couple darker shades.

If you go to like the mac cosmetics website, you can fill out this form where you tell them about yourself and then they email you back with recommendations. You're under no obligation to buy but it will let you know what colors will suit you best and then you can go anywhere and get those colors!!What makeup looks best with really blue eyes?
you MUST listen to me. Go to a MAC counter and buy these eyeshadows: Mulch and Bronze. You will look like a queen with these two shadows. Any colors with brown or bronze tones in them are going to compliment and spice up the blue of your eyes. Seriously.. you must have those two shadows. They will be staples in your makeup bag. As for eyeliner, MAC's fluidline in blacktrack is an amazing eyeliner and goes on so smooth. You will need a brush to apply. For liner that lasts for days if you never washed it off, buy the black shade of MAC's liquidlast liner. I wore this to my grandfather's funeral and it did not BUDGE through all the crying. Any more questions, feel free to e-mail me :)
Any kind of liquid eye liner would be good for a dark black and would stay on if it were water proof... for blue eyes wear neutral colors, such as browns, cremes, greys, etc. I find that it is hard to make bright colors look un-tacky, especially on blue eyes... I just wear black mascara, and have like 20 different browns I wear.
Depending on what colour hair you have aswell.

I personally prefer a lighter black for blonde hair, and a dark brown for brunettes.

Any MAC product generally work the best :)
black, or white only in the inner

corners will make your eyes look

    bigger and stand out

get an eyeliner that is definetly black

and not called charcoal or dark, and

    called waterproof or 24 / 7.

    like urban decay
blacks, violet, steel gray, silver, dark shimmery browns, just play with colors and find what you like!

    hope i helped =]]
I like MAC's makeup line, but with your coloring, there is nothing nicer than plum(y) colors. They are going to make your eyes stand out very intensly rather than black which may look tood harsh.
I use MAC makeup's waterproof eyeliner pencil in black, it works wonders!!
get water proff black eye liner, they sell it anywhere. also try some black mascara. it will bring out your eyes more.
black looks amazing on blue eyes! I kinda wear blue contacts (shhhhh...) so i tend to use black eyeliner too!
rdark dark black and water proof!

  • How come the makeup I wear on my eyes looks lighter close up?

I wear brown liner and when applying, it's a nice, light color, but when I stand back, the liner looks brown/ black? It's not any heavier, just darker. And is there a way to make the liner look just as light as it is close-up?

Thanks! :)How come the makeup I wear on my eyes looks lighter close up?
If you're doing it in front of a mirror, sometimes the light reflects especially bright closer up. I've noticed that when I step back from a framed mirror, the light's reflection is sometimes shadowed by the frame, which makes my reflection look darker. Plus, when you're looking close up, you may be able to see more of the light-reflecting flecks in the liner. Perhaps try switching to a lighter shade. How come the makeup I wear on my eyes looks lighter close up?
It depends on the light. Have you notice your hair looks lighter in the sun light than when you are inside your house. It could also depend if you wore an eye shadow under the eye liner. Try to use an eye prime, go to ELF to find one.

    http://www.eyeslipsface.com/studio/eye_p…
if you put on alot, then it comes off like that. next time, make a line with it on your hand before buying it.

how bout, after putting it on, take a Q-tip with some lotion on it, and rub it lightly over it, that will make it appear softer. but not too much cause it will wipe away all your makeup goodluck =)
Try brown eyeliners from other brands, that look lighter in the tube.

    OR

Pat some foundation powder on your eyeliner after it has dried.
It's because you're close up so you can actually see the colors.
    blend, use darker colors.

but generally, thats how all make up is

you have to smudge liner in to the eye lashes.
maybe if you use a lighter shade of brown, it'll look normal from far. :)
    do some blending

How do i do this EYE MAKEUP look? [PIC]?

    http://blogs.hairboutique.com/wp-content…

please include the steps! How do i do this EYE MAKEUP look? [PIC]?
    What You-ll need:

Foundation. (I like M.A.C looks like its in a lipstick container.)

Pressed Powder (Studio Fix by M.A.C is great but you could go with CG and other brands.)

Blush (a peachy glowey gold colour. You can blend a peach and gold together.)

Highlights (a sheer colour right on the cheek bone, nose bone and inside the tear ducts. could also use an almost goldish colour for more of a dewly sultry look)

    Eye Shadows: Browns, Golds, Tans,

Eye liner: dark brown for top and black for bottom, well smudged.

Fake eyelashes. there are no way those are natural. I have some from M.A.C that are easy to apply and look good. If you dont want to bother with fake eye lashes. I recommend Exact eyelights, Its a thick wand that is sturdy and gives you good volume and length. I dont like the double tubed ones, they make your lashes grey.

Lips. Go over your lips with foundation and powder. Then either apply a nude gloss or choose a pinky tan eyeshadow and put it on and go over with a clear gloss.

    Steps:

1.) Using a foundation brush, wedge or fingers apply foundation evenly. possibly use a primer. (remember Lips)

2.) apply blush from cheek bones to temple, she has her pretty high, so dust it right on the cheek bone.

3.) Dust face with pressed powder and apply extra to your eyelids or apply a eye prime, (remember lips). (M.A.C paint pot)

4.) with a base shadow, dust eyes, this is usually a nude tan colour. for this look i would use a nice goldish colour, not too gold though. Then in the out side corner of eye take a fluffy eye shadow brush. with A dark brown, dust the outside corners in an angle shape. from crease to lash line.

4.) from the middle of the eye, take a deeper tan then your base. With a slightly stiffer and smaller brush. wiggle it from lash line to crease and with a blending brush. blend the dark brown with the tan.

5.) For the inside corner of your eye, use an off white Shadow. Blend with blending brush, touch up the rest.

6.) take your dark brown eyeliner and go very very close to the lash line and smudge at the end and a tiny tiny flick.

7.) with black eyeliner for bottom. Go right inside eye, right on that line. This will make your eyes look smaller and squity, know as the sexy, sultry make-up look.

8.) apply mascara wiggling from the lash line up, Touch up with the end holding the mascara wand straight up and flick the outside lash's out, do same for bottom lashes.

9.) finish with lips as said above

Done :) Hope I Helped. :DHow do i do this EYE MAKEUP look? [PIC]?
Okay, well I am just going to tell you how to do the eyes, because you kind of emphasized the EYE part lol.

Okay so first you need to start off with an eyeshadow base, I should probably use numbers to make this easier, so now begins the nimbers.

    Step zero! Just kidding.

    1. Apply an eyeshadow base such as Urban Decay Primer Potion or Two Faced Shadow Insurance, if you don't own either of these I highly recommend you splurge and purchase one, they will last you FOREVER, and are well worth the money. They make your eyeshadow last literally all day, and it stays flawless. They also help prevent any mascara or eyeliner smudging because they essentially mattify your eyelids so they stay nice and dry. (I prefer Two Faced, by the way) It's the most basic item any person applying makeup should own, so get it!

    2. You need to start out with a light shimmering beige color on your inner corner, you can see in the pic Kim has this shimmer beige color applied around her tear duct area and all over the inner half of her eyelid just to open up her eyes. I recommend shroom from mac, but anything will do.

    3. Kim's eye looks rather Taupe-ish to me, but it could be brown, sorry, it's not a very descriptive picture. I am going to go with taupe because I like it better and it is definately more versatile. Take a shimmering dark taupe shade (My favorite is Satin Taupe from MAC, a must have) And blend that all along the outside of your eye and into the crease, blending it really well into that shimmering beige color

    4. Once you have that blended really well, take a matte black, such as carbon from MAC and bland that alone the outer V of your eye Just to define and add some depth, and again, blend really really well, it's key in this look.

    5. Now take that same matte black and any smaller brush, could be an angled brush, pencil brush, or the tip of a shader brush, even a sponge tip smudger will work, and load it up with that matte black shade. Now Kim doesn't look to have a really defined liner, so take whatever your using and smudge that eyeshadow along your upper lashline, but don't get too messy, you are going for a slightly smokey liner, not a hot gothic mess.

    6. For the bottom lashes take your Satin Taupe shade along that smudger and basically use the same technique you did for the upper lashes but don't go all the way in with the color, stop the liner when your lashes stop along the bottom. For the inner corner of your lower lashline apply that shimmery beige to just open up your eyes and make them pop. If you want a little extra dimension apply that matte black right along the outer edge of your lower lashline.

    7. Tightline your upper waterline with a black liner, my personal favorite is MAC's powerpoint in engraved, then line your bottom waterline with the same pencil, Kim appears to have liner going all the way into her tearduct, so line completely from one edge to the next.

    8. Heavy heavy mascara, or false lashes, but make sure your lashes aren't clumpy, that is definately not attractive. Apply loads of mascara to your bottom lashes as well, as Kim's look pretty full.

    9. For a little added dimension apply that shimmering beige color along the highest point of your brow arch and blend downwards, it will just highlight your eye and all of the work you have just put int.

    10. Wait! Number 10, there is no number ten. Well, here is a little video from one of my favorite makeup artist's Nicola, doing a smokey eye similiar to the technique I have just describes, simply insert the colors I described and you're good to go!

    Video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5OZ6785i…
Easy! You will need an automatic or pencil eyeliner, maybe a light grey, and a black mascara or fake lashes.

1: Eyeshadow! Put the grey eyeshadow on, all over your eyelid

2: Make a line on your eyelid with the eyeliner, beginning on the inside edge (closest to your nose), getting thicker. Then make a wing at the other end. Under your waterline, make a line connecting to the winged line.

3:FOr mascara, get the Rimmel XXL mascara in black and then make maybe two coats on top, one on the bottom.

3 (optional): instead, you can use fake eyelashes. Just use the special glue and glue them on! Voila!
K.I do my make up like that all the time.I start with fake lashs as you can 'see' she has. Then line the top lash line and the bottom with (black) eyeliner.Smuge it alittle not alot though.Take some mascara and put alittle coat on them.It makes them longer and helps. Then use some white eyeshadow put it on your lid and go up everytime you go up make it lighter.I forgot before you put all that on use concealer.
I looks like a pretty simple look, but with all/most Kardashian looks, Kim's eyelashes look like theyr are making the eyeshadow look darker. It looks looks like a light champagne/gold/beige on the lid, and dark brown on the outer half of the lid. Looks like she highlighted with a white-gold eyeshadow too. And of course, false lashes. :)

http://www.imdb.com/media/rm2240645888/n鈥?/a>How can i make my eye makeup look like this?
Hm, that's a pretty simple look so it should be easy.

    1. Prime your eyes with a primer such as Urban Decay's or just apply concealer to your lids.

    2. Using a basic eyeshadow brush, apply some champagne shadow all over your lids then blend in a shimmery pink-beige color with your ring finger or a clean brush. For highlight, apply a shimmery pearl shadow under your brows and blend out. Also, I just noticed that she has some pretty highlight in her inner corners, so apply the pearl shadow to the inner corners as well and blend everything together well.

    3. Trace the outline of your eyes with a black or grey liner(this depends more on your skin tone, if you're fairer go with the dark charcoal/grey) and only go halfway on your bottom lid. Dont make the line stop right at the middle, make sure to smudge it in towards the inner corner of your eye so its a softer stop.

    4. Curl lashes and apply your favorite mascara(right now, my personal favorite is the CoverGirl Lash Blast)How can i make my eye makeup look like this?

You need an eyeshadow primer, black eyeshadow, black eye liner, an eyelash curler and black mascara. Use the eyeshadow primer on first then use an black eyeliner on your lash lines and inner rims of your eyes. Then use a eyeshadow brush to apply the black eyeshadow. Pat it on your eyelid so it doesn't fall under your eyes. If it does, use a Q tip and dip it in eyemakeup remover and remove the excess eyeshadow. Then curl your eyelashes 3 times, for 20 seconds each. When your done, apply a black waterproof mascara to your top and bottom lashes. 2-3 coats on the top, and 1 coat on the bottom.

Urban Decay is great for that kind of makeup. They have an eyeshadow primer, and lots of black eyeshadows.

For eyeliner, try a Smashbox Jet Set Waterproof Eyeliner in Black and get their angled eyeliner brush too.

For eyelash curler, Revlon is good for a cheap choice, but if you can try Shu Uemura eyelash curler, I think you'll like it.

For mascara, I heard Diorshow was good, but I've never tried it, I use Covergirl Waterproof mascara and I works great.

You are pretty. Your hair looks shiney and healthy. I think you are wearing the wrong colour of eye liner though and that it is too dark. The natural look always looks best. You know your make up is perfect when nobody can tell you have any on.
    You're very pretty, looks great!
    it looks good
    Very nice :]
is you're eyeliner black black? from the picture, it seems a little bit dark for your hair color. you might want to try charcoal or brown. also, you can try lightening it up toward the inside of your eye and keeping the line darker and thicker on the outer corner. the hair looks great.
    very pretty smile blondie.
    Not really anything special.
WOW LOOKS SWEET can I use that picture as a screen saver ?? and can you show me how you look in your BIKINI fine Im SURE !!!!! DAMN !!@#$%^%26amp;8(!@#$%^%26amp;8()
    Hawt. ;D
whats with young pretty girls and that black raccoon makeup? you are pretty and hair is fine but tone down all that mess around your eyes. no offense but there are two huge turnoffs with young pretty girls; tall girls that slouch (because they subconciously dont like being so tall) and black eyeliner racooning out at everyone. less IS in fact better, wher makeup is concerned!!
You look really good. You're a pretty girl. I just LOVE the fact how you did the heavy eye makeup and light lips. It looks really good. Love the eyeliner : )

use light smoky colors and bring it OUT at the bottom and at the top slant it upwards ^^How can i achieve this eye makeup look ?? (pics included)?
I would recommend Avon brand it's the best and there markup are long lasting, it does not damage the skin, and it is afordable
    Eyeliner and Mascara.

CoverGirl works best. And you should use the stuff that comes in a plastic tube with a blender at the end. That works best. Use CoverGirl Mascara that comes in a silver tube. Its called Unstoppable or something like that

Damn the look in the girl's eyes in the second picture makes her look sad.
if you really want to, go to sephora and bring those pictures with you and tell them that's what you want (they do makeup for free if you ask). I recomend rimmel and loreal (loreal owns lancome and their prodcuts are the SAME for the most part, just different packaging) just play around and goood luck!

Does my eye makeup look good as is? (pics)?

    http://s256.photobucket.com/albums/hh186鈥?/a>

any suggestion would be great (:

thanksDoes my eye makeup look good as is? (pics)?
From that picture it seems to me that you like naturale look. If you are going for that it looks good, but if you are talking say a night on the town then maybe some darker black or even a darker brown eyeliner and you have such pretty eyes that maybe even a little bit more mascara would make your eyes appear wider and more full..other than that i think it looks nce. oh but for eyes shadows since your not wearing very much of that maybe a couple shades darker a little bit more again just to deepen the impact of your eyemakeupDoes my eye makeup look good as is? (pics)?
    DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!鈥? Report Abuse

Your eyes are very pretty... but you may have used too much pink. It also looks like you may have used a brown mascara or none at all.

My suggestion is to vary between using black and a dark brown mascara as they both will look good on you. Brown would be more natural, black would make your gorgeous eyes pop.

Dont forget a matching eyeliner to whichever mascara you are using.

My suggestions on eye shadow is to try Covergirl eyeshadow with the 4 (Quad) shadow pack. It has directions on where to apply it on the back and each shade has a little imprint on it that says ';lid, crease, etc'; on it.

Good luck and you have stunning eyes! They should be the focus on your face. Keep lips neutral when putting all the emphasis on your eyes.
It looks fine, but I'm not sure that is the most flattering makeup style possible. I'll give you a few suggestions but don't feel pressured to drop your current styles, just try a little variation. :]

    Try one of the following:

(Keep in mind eyeliner is to be applied to top and lower lid in these suggestions.)

Smoky: Gray eyeshadow (progressively lighter as it fades away from the lid) with black/gray eyeliner possibly shimmery, and black mascara.

Emerald Eyes: Emerald green (Dark green) eyeliner with black eyeliner. Plain, but it will make your eyes pop.

Emerald Eyes #2: Try black eyeliner, and black mascara to make your eyes pop in a normal way with a dark emerald green eyeshadow at the very root of your eyelashes. Make a thin line on your lid at the line on which the hair begins, almost like eyeliner.

Plain: Sometimes a black eyeliner/black mascara combo is a knock out.

Hues: You have a curious blue/green kind of tint to your eyes.. Try bringing out more of the blue in your eyes with blue eyeliner/eyeshadow at the base of your eyelid. Match it with black mascara and your eyes will stand out beautifully.

    Anyway, hope I've been a help. :p
I would use darker eye shadow, to make your eyes look more dramatic. I would also go for some black eyeliner, and maybe just even some mascara if your going for the natural look, but the long lashes will also accentuate your eyes. Avoid pink, red type colors. You could also go for some shimmery browns and golds. Hope this helped! Your eyes are gorgeous.
I think the pinkish color plays down your eyes too much. I think something darker will enhance your eyes more and give them more pop (think blues and grays). And maybe some black liner. Almay makes some pretty nice color palettes specifically for different eye colors to enhance them.
Where the hell is the eye shadow...?come on! I can not see anything. Are you for real? IS this some kind of trick you play on innocent people trying to earn their points by answering legit questions, unlike this master mind question you ask? Give me a break...
Although the pink color is nice, you should go darker. I agree, try a shadow quad. Cover Girl and Maybelline both have one. If you are wearing brown mascara, either you need to add more or use black. But you did do your makeup good
ok , yuo but put white eye liner on inner eyeline below than but black on outer eyeline below , and mascara would look really good .
I agree with some of the others, it looks like you've been up all night/been crying recently. I think you should opt for deep browns, with hints of gold :D
You should go darker and avoid red/pink colors. Find something that brings out the color of your eye's.
I think it looks very natural and cute, i don't see anything wrong with it.
honestly its a little too pink-ish it looks like you might have been crying or just woke up. Nice eye color tho.
i would use black eyeliner or a really rich and REALLY dark chocolate brown.. but it looks fine.
you're wearing makeup? I thought your eyes were just red
    stop posting this picture
yeah, but i dont like it as much
yes its very good eyes i look no change it please

well you can tell your wearing make up..but its not to a point where people would be like...oh if you washed her make up off she would probably be ugly...LOL you can still see your eyes.
No why would it look photoshopped? it looks a little to thick in my oppinion
no it doesnt look fake...what exactly do you mean by fake though?

you have very beautiful eyes, its a shame that you wear all that black eyeliner around them =(
I am not sure I understand what you are asking. You are wearing heavy eyeliner so I hope you weren't trying for the natural look.
How does eye make up ever look fake?

    Your Q makes no sense.

I'd say its unnatural and to dark like a raccoon

what do you mean by fake? but it looks good. :)
    too much eyeliner :)
Sure but if you like it, who cares.

    Ingrid
it looks like you put way too much on
love it! i wish i could get my top liner to look like that
    yah
It really depends on the occassion %26amp; on the person. Lots of girls wear their eyemakeup like that pic every day but others prefer lighter liner for a casual look. The look you have in the pic is dramatic %26amp; hot but it is very dark so it would have to be paired with sheer gloss. I think that if u want a less intense smokey eye look for a natural variety then try grey liner on the inside of your eyes %26amp; grey eyeshadow on the outside line. Also use less shadow so it's lighter but always lots of mascara especially if your hair is lighter. Bedroom eyes dusty eyelinder powder is awesome for something intense yet less dramatic but for your age i think that black eyeliners r really popular too. Have fun experimenting girl!
No. It doesn't look fake. It basically looks average. Sorry. :[
the eyeliner looks kinda fake but in a really cool way

    you have gorgeous eyes =)
It reminds me of the old racoon eye look. Your eyes are so pretty, why would you want to detract from them? Makeup should enhance your looks, not take away from them.
    i dont think it does

well all eye makeup looks fake. its not like you are born with it. for example you would use blush to simulate a natural flush, but it doesn't work like that with eyes. however, the liner is a little heavy, especially because you have fair skin. i would try using pencil instead of liquid and dark brown instead of black.
I don't think it looks photoshopped, but it might look like that to other people since the line is really precise and not smudged at all. I think it looks really good that way and looks great on your eyes. Don't let other people tell you it doesn't fit your skin tone or eyes... who cares :)
    no not really =]
the right eye does, but not fake as in ugly, it looks like its been painted or photoshopped

    but the pic looks good
I think it looks good with your light colored eyes!

What makeup looks best with hazel eyes? and a somewhat narrow face?

I have hazel eyes and there normal looking, not thin and not oo wide. What is the best eye shadow?? and should i wear blush? is there a special kind of makeup that hides freakles? please answer if u know! What makeup looks best with hazel eyes? and a somewhat narrow face?
almay, has a shadow thingy i love to use, check at kogers it should have pink, brown and pale brown, it will tell you how to put it on and everything, i find smudgy smokey look nice tooWhat makeup looks best with hazel eyes? and a somewhat narrow face?
use green eyeshadow to make your eyes look big purple or blue to make you look...mysterious.blush looks kinda fake so only use ones that match your skin tone.
Green or hazel eyes follow the principle of ';complimentary colors'; -- pinks, deep mauves, lavenders, rich plums, and eggplant shades will cause the green or hazel to appear more vibrant.

What colors of makeup looks best with hazel eyes?

okay, i have hazel eyes and dirty blonde hair. my skin is tan and i really need makeup tips!!!! thanks! :)What colors of makeup looks best with hazel eyes?
Blue eye liner on the outer corners. And maybe a pearly white on the inner corners to open your eyes a bit. Lash Stiletto

But it depends on your hair.

    Red hair-Green eye shadow/liner

    Black hair-Smokey yellow and oranges

    Brown hair-Blues an Greens

    Blond hair-Golds Pearls and Pigments

Dirty Blond hair-Light blues and GreensWhat colors of makeup looks best with hazel eyes?
you shouldn't ask online about how to wear makeup. You should go to the mall and go up to a makeup counter and get help from there. That way someone might say get Mac makeup and this lip gloss not knowing that it might not work for your skin tone. Good luck.
green, brown, black or purple :) especially if you do black liner on your inner rims, with green or brown blended in. it'll really bring out the colours.
    I'm just like you (:

Stick with purples, pinks, and GOLDS!!

Stay away from blue eyeshadows also.

    Hope this helps!

    Stay beautiful (:
Almay has pallets for spesific eye colours. But for hazel eyes use purple, greens, browns and netural colours.
    purple.

    check this!

try those eyelights exact mascara, liner, and shadow for hazel eyes. thats wat i use and i look jus like yu....except for the tan haha
You should use browns and golds for eye-shadow. And medium/dark brown eyeliner.
earthy tones like green, brown, and bright yellow..

How would i get my eye makeup to look like this girl's?

http://s220.photobucket.com/albums/dd164鈥?/a>How would i get my eye makeup to look like this girl's?
In the picture the girl is wearing a blue/silver eye shadow that sparkly. You can probably find that type of eye shadow at your local wal*mart.

Just above the lash line she is using black liquid eye liner. On her bottom lash line she is using a black pencil eye liner. To create that look she pulled down her lower lash-line and put the pencil eye liner in the crease.

In the picture there is also some eye liner smugged closer to the corners. The easiest way to create that look is to get black eye shadow, with a small angel brush and blend together.

Finish off the eyes with one coat of black mascara.

finally on her lips she is wearing a light pink lipstick. How would i get my eye makeup to look like this girl's?
First blend a smokey and shimmery black/dark gray eyeshadow up to your crease and blend it up. Then put on black eyeliner on top and bottom in a thick line which you can smudge a little. Wing it out a bit too. Put a shimmer silver eyeshadow in the inside corner of your eye. Black Mascara

Its really pretty hope it works out for you :)
    Don't.

    It's really ugly.

Well, I'm being honest. I think it goes out way too much and eyeshadow should stay on the lid unless you are beyonce.

It kinda looks like she just woke up.

You should just do a torquoise with black eyeliner and it would look good.
    oh thats pretty simple tbh

just start of with some white/grey glittery shadow at the tips on your eyes near your nose and work backwards and get darker as you move backwards to dark grey/black glitttery shadow.

use black eye pencil and mascara to complete the look.

    Scene %26gt;%26lt;

    1) Apply silvery eyeshadow on your lids, up until just a little past your crease. Also put some on your lower lashlines and inner corners

    2) Line your waterline with dark eyeliner.

    3) Sweep on some mascara.
use pencil and use a smudger around it. then use black eyeshadow and make it into an angle at the outer eye and blend it
    That's ugly. D:

honestly, it's too winehouse for me.

you can still get a similar effect with less liquid on bottom and use powder instead. it will bring your eyes out MORE. unless you want the eyeliner to be the focus of your face...in that case- it looks great!
    nothing personal

but ive seen that look done more skillfully

    without the cute pose,

your lines looked a little shakey...

try making more sweeping motions with the eyeliner

    but other than that

with your skin and hair coloring

it might not look too terrible
    i reallyllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll鈥?like it i envy you!! haha

maybe without the inner flick of the eyeliner it would look beter and a tiny bit thinner along the top rim of you eyelid
i personally love the whole ';egyptian'; makup thing, i used to do it to, but my mom told me to stop it because i loooked funy. dang her.
Personally on me I think it would look ridiculous,

yeah, it's cool. i wish i could do my eye makeup like that.

Who is going around telling so many young girls they need a lot of eye makeup to look pretty?

no guy I know likes a girl to wear lots of eye make upWho is going around telling so many young girls they need a lot of eye makeup to look pretty?
i'm guessing your referring to the raccoon eyes that seem to be so popular?

I don't know who's doing it, but when i catch them i plan to rip them a new anal sphincter!

another look i detest is the one my partner calls 'spakfiiler face' where the makeup is plastered on so thick you could slice layers of it off and still not see the face.Who is going around telling so many young girls they need a lot of eye makeup to look pretty?
I think MANY people really can't tell weather others make up is alot or the right amount.Even people who do there makeup mostly can't tell the difference.Yes, the media has done alot but we can't blame the media for everything. Some people just choose to cake up there faces not taking the time and effort to apply it properly. To be honest your perception of too much makeup probably won't be my same out look on it being ';too much'; because I believe makeup is also an art form and your face is a blank canvas. And that there's absolutely nothing wrong with being bold and daring with your makeup. But, we can definitely agree that there is a boundary between a person looking like a clown and artful/professional.
    i agree completely however

if you know how to put it on right (the whole eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara thing) then go for it! as long as it makes you feel confident and beautiful, then i say why not? (as long as you don't look like an idiot though and you know you are wearing to much. but idont think young girls should be wearing that much makeup, so i agree.
    depends on the guy.

and u wont get a definite answer cos every girl has her reason.

for me, its cos i express myself through makeup.

if im feeling plain, i'll wear black eyeliner.

    fun i wear purple

    confident i'll blue.

    sad or something gray

    natural brown.

    its different for every girl.
    totally agree with you!!!

i am a 20 year old girl and i can't stand it! it looks so trashy when a young girl(12 yrs - 20 yrs) layers on thick black eyeliner...

sometimes a little mascara is pretty but whoever started the whole ';as thick as a finger'; thing really should be told.

    ahhhhh vent.

    :)
    I don't know.

I do wear a lot of eye makeup (mainly just loads of mascara), but I only do this because I like the look of long, thick lashes.

And I think I look better with longer eyelashes haha.

    I don't really knoww.
I agree...less is more. I guess the makeup commercials always have models wearing a TON of makeup, and girls try to duplicate that maybe?
i agree! It looks so trashy! i mean i experiment with lots of makeup bc i want to be a makeup artist but i dont go out in public with all that junk on my eyes...
I like to wear eyeshadow because I love to experiment with colours and effects. It can be a form of art. I love colour.
models, actress, media, plus they feel insecure about their true beauty//////
    the media
they don't feel good about themselves being natural so they cover themselves with a mask
girls love to experiment with makeup and their looks
idk some girls just wear a lot.... maybe its because they are insecure
Who cares? I do it for me.

Umm what colour eye makeup would look good with green eyes?

which colour eyeliner and eyeshadow ..?Umm what colour eye makeup would look good with green eyes?
    Yoo.

I've got green eyes too and lots of makeup artists has told me purple eyeshadow would realllly bring them out and it does.

    |'ve also found using a blue eyeliner on your waterline or to line around the eyes really brings out the green.

Also,,,, ermmm darkish grass green looks pretty cool with green eyes OR something which makes me get lots of compliments is like a white and charcoal look of eyeshadow!

But yeah blue eyeliner on the waterline really makes eyes stand out and purple eyeshadow is just a classic.Umm what colour eye makeup would look good with green eyes?
i have green eyes too, what sorta green r urs?? mine are quite a bright green, i use lilac eyeshadow, or taupe colours, loreal do a trio one out and ill go and look what colour it is in a min and tell you, you put one of the colours underneath your bottom lashes as a liner but it powder, then the other colour on your lids then the other under your brow bone the three shades you get in this trio are numbered to tell you, it costs around 拢13 are you in u.k???

my friend used to work for benefit that why i use them colours not a lot of lilac but it makes the green of you eyes stand out, always make sure you finish with lashings of black mascara, oh... another bit advice blast the hair dryer (warm) on you eyelash curlers for couple seconds then curl lashes, i aways apply a little mascara before i curl them even though that naughty!!! lol

oh... always use concealer under eyes too, i use max factor erase it quite cheap and last ages, also white pencils are also good, use bit in each corner of the eyes too make your eyes appear bigger!!

    experiment!!!
    eyy green eyes (:

i have always found that if you want it for

an everyday look, i would try:

    a brown eyeliner.

a khaki eyeshadow, this will enhance your eyecolour

    for a partayy look (:

    a purple eyeliner

and with the eyeshadow, go mad with bright colours! it will make your eyes look beautiful, but i would avoid wearing just pink on any occasion as this will make you look very tired and make the red veins on your eyes stand out..

you could also pull of a nice sexy smoky eye look, it'll look great (:

    hope i helped

    have fun experimenting ( :
do black liquid eyeliner and then get one of those green slightly sparkly liquid eyeliners and just go really really lightly over the black eyeliner. gives the black a slight touch of colour to match your eyes and i bit of sparkle. will look lush trust me.

as for eyeshadow.... im not really sure. mabye dont wear any eyeshadow but do the eyeliner on the eyelid too!
Different shades of green, purple and brown.
    Dark Smoky Brown or Black
    anything dark maybe brown :)
    purple....makes you eyes stand out

What makeup, mostly eye makeup, would look good on me? (pics)?

http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c357/k鈥?/a>What makeup, mostly eye makeup, would look good on me? (pics)?
    1. Get a hair straightener.

    2. Get your eyebrows done.

    3. Get more highlights or some sort of color in your hair.

    4. A brownish or golden shadow would look really good.

    5. At first just stick to the basic clear lip gloss.

    6. Getting contacts.

Really just making yourself a little more girly and caring for yourself a little more. If all of those things help you feel better about yourself then go for it. There are always things that you can do to help yourself look good. What makeup, mostly eye makeup, would look good on me? (pics)?
    1. get your eye brows done!!! you have to.

    2. buy a pressed powder that is your skin tone and apply as needed.

    3. use lash exact mascara by covergirl

    4. try a shimmery brown eyeshadow

    5. if you dont want eye shadow. then use a black eyeliner on your bottom lid.

    6. it seems as if you have curly hair. use some leave in conditioner and moose when your hair is wet and leave it down. if there are some bangs flying around use bobby pins to hold them in place.

    7. wash your face with an acne or pore cleanser.

    good luck !!
GET YOUR EYEBROWS DONE AT ONCE!!! After doing that I would recommend at light foundation with a bronze and browns and golds for your eyes with a heavy liner to bring them out. Use a dark neutral on your lips. your a very pretty girl.
1st get ur eye brows done.

2.brownish eye shadow.bronzers would look nice to.

    3
You have a really pretty face!

First thing I think you should buy a hair straightner and straighten your hair.

For makeup try lining your eyes with eyeliner, then put on a brown or nuetral eye shadow, and mascara. You would look fabulous!!!
Okay. First you might want to get you eyebrows done. I would go with a nice subtle green color eyeshadow for your eyes. Try some brown or black eyeliner. Contacts are always a good thing. [if you're into that].
you have a red undertone so go with a cool green eyeshadow (apply lightly) with some eyeliner.

use pensil eyeliner and just pull your eye like your aisian and draw across the very bottom edge of your eyelid. once you get the hang of it then you can play with the shape a little at the outer ends of your eyes. (dont draw on too thick)

Does eye makeup look weird when....?

you wear nearly black mascara and have brown eyebrows? I try and get mascara in brown shades, but they don't typically come in waterproof which is a must for me. I typically just get it in ';brownish black'; but it still looks more black then brown.Does eye makeup look weird when....?
No, it's not weird at all, it actually looks good that way, I think. The reason you wear mascara is for the length and volume. The darker the color is, the more thick it will appear.Does eye makeup look weird when....?
    My eyes are hazel brown/green,

and I notice that with very black mascara my eyes tend to pop more..

I don't think it looks weird, because nobody really looks closely enough to notice whether or not it's black or brown. Good luck!
well im a blonde and i have light brown eyebrows and i use ebony black eye makeup and it looks fine(: i dont think it would look bad on you
I don't personally think it's very noticeable at all.
Um not really. Black mascara usually looks better than other mascaras no matter what eyebrow color you have.
No I do it all the time...black really brightens the color of the eyes.
no not really lol hahahaha :) %26lt;3 hope this helped
I don't think it looks weird at all.... Just remember to not overdo it! lol :]]
    no :) lol

How can i make my eye makeup last longer and look better?

i have relatively small green eyes that i like to make the focus of my face with my makeup. because i have small eyes, i dont like to use a lot of black eyeliner but it seems like thats the only way to make my eyes really pop. unfortunately, after probably an hour and a half-2 hours i notice my eye makeup wearing away. it sort of forms a small rim right under my eyes but thats not my main issue. eyeshadow is the same thing, it wears off extremely easily. is there anything i can do to get a more dramatic, lasting look? How can i make my eye makeup last longer and look better?
use a powder foundation over your eyes and on that use some nice eye shadow.. preferably single color...which matches your dress.. if you think if is not staying long use shimmer over the shadow.. this helps the shadow to stay longer...

use liquid eyeliner on the top lash and eye pencil for the bottom lash.. its looks lovely and liquuid liner stays for longer time too... preferably black, brown or midnight blue.. greys are good for night parties...

use one coat of mascara over the lashes... this should make you look pretty and stay for longer too..

good luckHow can i make my eye makeup last longer and look better?
you should use that unstoppable eyeliner it really stays on for a long time cause i even sleep in it sometimes like when i take a nap and it's still on there so try that.
to make it last longs... go to MAC or anywhere else and buy a liquid eyeshadow. Make sure it matches you skin colour because you just put your powder eye shadow. Good luck and hope this helps. Also try the long lasting waterproof products. Good luck!
surprisingly, quality of the product wont make much difference. the oil and sweat on your skin, naturally causes makeup to ';disappear'; throughout the day.

My secret: apply translucent face powder on your eyelids before applying shadow. it reduces the amount of oil, while holding the shadow on longer.

I hope this works for you
Apply a powder foundation to your entire eye lid before you put on the eye liner/ eye shadow. Itll help the makeup stay in place.
Splurge on higher quality makeup. Go to a makeup counter or store, like Sephora. Use a primer on your eyes, it helps. You can find all of those things there. And if you need help with colors or anything, just ask. They're all makeup artists, they know!

  • I have big eyes, what makeup looks go best with me?

i have big eyes and dark cirles.I have big eyes, what makeup looks go best with me?
I used to be a beauty consultant so heres my advice:

#1 ~ Avoid eyeliner - use shadow to create the illusion of eyeliner. Stick to natural colors or neutrals.

#2 ~ Use mascara but don't let it clump - no goofy colors either - brown or black.

#3 ~ As for the circles you can cover them up with some concealer.

Hope this helps!I have big eyes, what makeup looks go best with me?
It really depends what color your eyes are ;]
Big black circles around both eyes.

But beware of people thinking you are a panda, and taking an extraordinary interest in your love life.
It depends on the colors of your skin, eyes, and hair. It also depends on the shape.
It depends, what color your eyes are, and what you are wearing that day, you should put on different makeup each day.
    - Pick non-shimmery colors like khaki, dark plum, or burgundy, which work with every eye color. Place the shadow in the middle of the eyelid and blend it outward first, then inward. Stop right where the crease of your eyelid starts.

    - Line around the whole eye with a pencil (pick a dark and dramatic shade like black, navy, or gray). Larger eyes can handle a lot of eyeliner.

    - Minimize large eyes by lining the inner rim of the lower eye (above the eyelashes) with the same dark eye pencil that you used on the top eyelid.
i dont no i dont waer makup to pretty fa that
Depends really on your face what you really like that matches you besides big eyes are pretty they stand out
anything, big eyes = super sexy :)
put on the mascara! i have big eyes too and i only use a little bit of under eye liner. and if your eyes are blue, lavender eyeshadow looks really hot...also the smokey eye effect will look awesome as well.

WHAT makeup looks good on someone with brown eyes and fair skin?

Try a tinted moisturizer with illuminizer. Red earth's secret potion comes in a shade that will work for you. Then pair it with a light baby pink cream blush and dab it on the lips too.

    Black mascara. Fresh, hot, flattering.

Use the illuminizer on cheekbones, brow bones, and anywhere you want your bone structure to look more pronounced.

I have dark lashes too but it really does help to have a coat of black mascara. You will notice a difference.WHAT makeup looks good on someone with brown eyes and fair skin?
blue eyeliner makes brown eyes really pop!WHAT makeup looks good on someone with brown eyes and fair skin?
    earth tones
OMW, I have the same problem!! Ok, i like to make my eyes look really bold. Since we have brown eyes, i like to use a really earthy and natural green, cuz it really contrasts the brown and makes my eyes pop. So i take a lighter color green, and put it over the lid, and in the crease i use a slightly darker color. Then on the brow-bone right under the eye brow i put white eyeshadow. i put base make up on my face to even out the skin tone, and i put on a translucent powder after that. For my lips, i like to go with a really light pink, so that i don't take away from my eyes, and they don't compete against each other. Hope this helps. I'm 15 too, and the acne thing, just use concealer over ur problem areas!!
Avon is the answer!!......they'll literally hold ur hand thru it....
I have hazel eyes but gold accents look really good also blue.

1.) Start by using a darker tan color and sweep it just at the base of your eye lid to the corner.

2.) Use a lighter brown color and sweep it just as you did except to just above the first crease.

3.)Take a gold shimmery shadow and brush it all over the eyelid but mainly putting it at the outer corners of the lid and the inner corner.

4.) OPTIONAL you could take the same color or use a turqouise blue color to underline just the lower corners of your lower lid. This creates a darker mood and feel to your makeup.

    Hope this Helps:)
for skin, light powder and concealer to cover up imperfections but keep it natural

i also have brown hair and fair skin, and i pretty much wear a different color of eyeliner every day. light colors are really pretty-lavender and light blue

black also works if you do it right, but stay away from gold, though silver is good too.

a little black mascara accentuates your eyes, but make sure it doesnt look like you are wearing it

i usually dont wear anything on my lips, but if i do it is usually within the family of red colors

i'm pretty out there with a lot of my makeup choices, i dont know if you are-hope this helps!
I probably would choose soft browns and neutral colors maybe a touchy of burgendy and gold on the lips. Us black eyeliner and mascara for a smokey eye look. You can always go to the mall and get a make over at any makeup counter - they will help you pick the perfect color combinations for your skin. Be prepared to pay some good money it won't be like going to walmart picking up a compact of cover girl.
I think it really all depends on your hair color. My mom is a red-head so she uses brown tones. Most people with fair skin look better using brown tones unless you have dark hair. In that case, use a darker tones and green shades of eyeshadow.
maybe some translucent powder to even your skin out

    mineral blush

    very lightly

    purple eyeshadow

    dark brown eyeliner

    masacara

    nude lipgloss

How do I apply makeup for that 'smoky' eye look without looking like I have a black eye?

Please let me now colors and placements, and what color of eyes this looks best with. How do I apply makeup for that 'smoky' eye look without looking like I have a black eye?
Remember a little goes a long way. Use a slanted makeup brush for eyes instead of a sponge applicator. Make sure you prep your eyelid with some foundation or pressed powder so that your eyeshadow doesn't crease from natural oils on your lid. Dust a silver/grey shadow on your lid which is the part of the skin that covers your actual eyeball. Look at yourself in the mirror and tilt your head back as if you are a Queen looking down at her people. This makes it easier to see your crease which is the gap between your eyeball and your browbone. Little by little sweep the tiniest amount of black shadow into the crease of your outer eye. When there is no more shadow left on your brush blend upwards towards your browbone for a more smokier blended effect. Finish off with a black liquid eyeliner and two to three coats of mascara. Curl lashes. Dot and blend a shimmering beige highlighter in the inner eye area to make your eyes pop out drammatically. You can also email mac artists for your question and they will recommend the exact colors you need. How do I apply makeup for that 'smoky' eye look without looking like I have a black eye?
Before putting the black eye shadow, put a base first, try using a gold or copper shade of shadow all over your upper eye-lids, then use a brush when putting the black shadow, starting from the bottom working your way upwards, just a few milimeters above your upper lid crease, watch out on the sides you might over-extend and you might look like a cat. If you want you can also try using 2 shades of shadow, like a dark shimmery violet and black, You just place the violet shadow first extending above your upper lid crease , then apply the black shadow on the bottom part of your upper eye lid. For more dramatic results put dark eye liner on your upper and lower lids, specially on the lover lid try putting a little more. After doing everything thats the time you place the concealer on your eye bags so there will be no black-eye effect.
The smokey eye look is actually very easy to obtain. Get several shades of blue eyeshadow, ranging from light blue to dark blue (navy). Starting with the lightest blue, cover the lower portion of your eyelid from the inside corner to the outside. Follow with a middle blue shade and apply it along the crease of your eyelid, at about the half way point from inner to outer lid start sweeping the mid-blue shadow up towards the outer point of your eyebrow. Then take the darker blue and apply it about two thirds in from the outcorner of your eye, start near your eye lashes and sweep up to the crease, then put the very barest hint of it from the outer corner of your eye to the outer corner of your eyebrow. Take a make up brush and blend it together starting from the inner corner and moving up and out towards the outside of your eyebrow. If you're very fair complected try using neutral shades of light brown, beige and dusty brown. Hope this helps!
moops explained it very well, thats how i wear mine.
Achieving the smoky eye is more about the technique than the color of the eyeshadow. Divide your eye in three from top to bottom...1) Brow bone 2) crease 3) lid. Apply eye shadow using a sponge tip applicator on lid only in a packing on style then blend it using an eyeshadow brush blend it out up to the crease using a circular Motion (pivoting) next apply a lighter color on the brow bone and again blend using a circular motion. Outline your eye top and bottom with a dark eyeliner pencil then with the same eyeshadow you used on your lid blend with a q-tip. Finally apply tons of mascara!

you avoid the black eye look by not using such a dark color.

One option is to soften the line of a liner therefore getting a smokey eye look:

    2.Eye Liners:

Application Technique For The Liquid EyeLiner:

Test, on the back of your hand, the amount of pressure you should apply.Unless you are a real artist, it is best to steady your elbow on a flat surface.Work from the inside of the eye to the outside corner and keep the line light and even.If you stop at the corner of the eyes, the effect will be round and wide-eyed;if you continue the line and sweep it up and out, you would get a more exotic look.

Finally smudge the edges with a cotton bud to soften them.

Application Technique For The Pencil Eyeliner:

Pencils can be used in the same manner to define or extend the shape of the eyes, but they give a softer, more natural line.Keep them sharpened and ready for use, as blunted or broken points can spoil the whole effect.

If you want to get the effect with using eye shadow then choose a pallette of 4 light to darker browns (any eye color will do).:

    1.Eyeshadow:

    Application Technique:

The following steps are followed in the application of eyeshadow shades.

i.Using a fine, blunt-ended brush, gently apply the base colour to the entire lid from the inside to the outside corner and from the base of the lashes to the eyelid crease.

ii.If the eyes need extra definition, a deeper shade is blended into the crease line. This gives depth to the eyes.

iii.The brow bone is highlighted with a light shade. This gives the eyes a wide, open look. The colour is applied to the most prominent area and blended up towards the brow and down to where the contour curves down, toward the eyelid creases.

Before using them on the lids, always test the colours on the back of the hand to test the intensity. You can use even 3-4 colours, provided they are blended well.Remember pale tones emphasize, while deep sooty shades define.

Use the next to darkest color on a little brush, blow on it to get rid of clumps

lightly brush it under the eye VERY close to the lashes.

it should give you the smokey look you want.

  • eye look
  • How do I create the ';smoky eye'; makeup? I try but never get it to look just right. Any pointers?

Depends on what colours you're using for the smokey eye look - you can often buy compacts from brands that assemble them specifically for that look. Rimmel in particular has one.

My advice for smokey eyes is to have these colours of eyeshadow: black, dark grey, light grey and silver (shimmer).

Firstly, apply the darker colours closer the bottom of your eyelid. Apply the black very sparingly - you don't want it too dark. Apply the black lightly on your lid. In the crease of your eyelid, apply the dark grey and blend it with the black. Then, a little further up, apply the light grey and blend it with the dark grey. Then at the very top of your brow bone, apply the silver.

As a general makeup tip, it's always wise when applying eyeshadow to use the dark colours on your eyelid and get lighter as you go up.

The variations of blacks, greys and silvers are just a general smokey eye thing. But I also create a smokey eye with a very light shade of lilac, a deep sparkly grey, and a black eyeshadow. It all depends on what you prefer - smokey eyes can be created by whatever you like.

Avoid blue, however, especially powder blue. How do I create the ';smoky eye'; makeup? I try but never get it to look just right. Any pointers?
well, with green eyes you should try a purple smokey eye.

Its easiest if you have a pallette of about three or four colors. For smokey, use the darkest one on your lid up to the crease, and then on the lower lashline. Blend the lightest shade in the inner corner of your eye and on our brow bone. Blend everything together. Then put a soft smudgable pencil liner on the bottom lashline and smudge with your finger or a q tip, to get that smokey effect. go over it again with purple or black shadow for a more intense look. Then put a little of the liner on your top lashline and trace over it again with a liquid, gel, or cream liner and wing it out at on the sides. finish off with tons of mascara...try three coats and don't forget to put it on the bottom lashes. How do I create the ';smoky eye'; makeup? I try but never get it to look just right. Any pointers?
Use a base color over the whole lid. Line your eyes starting at the outside and go in (toward the nose). Put a light shimmery color at the arch of your eye brow and a medium color all over. Then use a dark color and start at the outside again and follow your eye crease to the center of your eye. The dark color should be only at the outside corner of your eye and in the crease, to the middle. Try looking at some pictures online or in mags. If you still can't get it go to a cosmetic counter at the mall and ask for help.

How to appply eye makeup that won't smudge and will look nice on me?

I'm horrible at applying eye makeup and I have no idea where to start. I wear mascara, but as far as eyeshadow goes, any time I try to put some on it disapears easily(I'm assuming because of the oils in my skin?) and/or smudges. I don't know how to wear a little bit during the day, and for big nights I usually stick ot just mascara..I'm even curious as to how some girls line the bottom of their eyes or add a bit of coor there adn it looks nice. I remember I saw a picture of Ashley Olsen and she had little doll eyes that popped bc she had the whole eye kind of lined, or maybe just had mascara the whole way? I've always been more of a lip-person but I want to try something different. I have light brown hair, light to medium skin, and brown eyes. Any tips, suggestions, or advice on applying eye makeup correctly, for the day or night(I need help on both!) or colors that would look good on me would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance. How to appply eye makeup that won't smudge and will look nice on me?
Here is some tips i learned about make up good luck!

    Eye Shadows

To achieve the perfect daytime look with eye shadow, you need to follow some basic guidelines. The basic tones you need are

    (a) a pale highlighter shade for your brow bone area.

    (b) a basic shade for your eyelids.

The shades you choose can be deep-toned or pale, neutral or bright, but they should be applied so that they are not too strong. Blending is important while applying eye shadow. The colour used should be appropriate to the colour of the skin and match the colour of the dress. When you use more than one shade they should be so well blended that you can't tell where one ends and the next one begins.

    Forms of shadows

Eye Shadows come in a variety of forms like pressed powders, pencils, sticks, gels or creams. Pressed powders are the most popular form of shadows. They are available in pearly and matt textures. You can get a better effect, if you apply them with a wet brush. The cream shadows are oil or wax based. It is best suited for dry lids and should be avoided on greasy eye lids. Pencils have a high colour and filling ability. Gels are suited for oily skins.

    Brushes for application

A straight - bristled brush for each colour and a round bristled brush for blending.

    Application

When you apply eye shadow, always start with the highlighter shade. Brush it just under the outer end of each eyebrow and quickly blend the colour inward toward the inner end of the eyebrow, above the inner corner of the eye. After that apply the eyelid shadow by beginning in the centre of each lid, just above the pupil of your eye. With a blending brush, make a quick back and forth motion. Finish the make up by blending upward to meet the highlighter shade.

    Eye defining pencil

Eye defining pencil adds definition and a hint of colour to the bottom of each eye. It is available in variety of colours. The pencil should have a fine point and a medium to soft lead so it glides on easily under the lower eyelashes.

To apply eye defining pencil, lightly stroke a single, fine line under the lower lashes starting at the outer corner of the eye. The line must be close to the base. Run the pencil smoothly under the lashes along each lower eyelid to the inner corner of the eye. Then use an angles brush or a cotton swab to soften and blend the line. Eye defining should be never be a hard, thick line.

    Eye liner

Eye liner is messy if you do know how to put on it better to use pencil form if you don't know how. If you are using eye liner just go slowly to put it on

Eye liners are the most extensively used form of eye make up. Eye liner is used to make the eyes more prominent and create an illusion of thicker lashes. Eye lining is done with a back or brown eye liner on the top lid of each eye and sometimes under the lower lashes. The line should be smooth instead of a harsh line.

    Forms of liners

Eye liner comes in liquids or pencil form. Care should be taken when using liquid eye liner. It should not go into the eyes. Liquid liners can be either water based or alcohol based. Alcohol based liners are water proof. How to appply eye makeup that won't smudge and will look nice on me?
First things first. Clean your face with an astringent, minding your eyes.

Second, apply your foundation and allow it to dry on your eyelids. This is a good base for eye color to stick to.

Apply your mascara. Not heavily. There's no need to overdo it.

When it comes to doing eyeshadow, apply as little as possible with the cleanest applicator you have.

Cream-based eyeshadows will dry and hold well. Powder eyeshadow works best when blended with 2-4 colors.

Using a light eyeshadow on the inside of your eye and a darker shade on the outside, with the main color in between, this will give you a BEAUTIFUL smokey look, and you wont have to worry about it disappearing on you, cause its stuck to your foundation.

Mary-Kate and Ashley have sticks of eyeshadow, that I have found to work wonderfully. They are dramatic and easy to use. Just glide it across your eyelid and be on your way.

Eyeliner is the trick to making your eyes one of a kind. If you have small eyes, using a brown-black eyeliner in a stick form is best. It wont make you look like youve been beaten up. But still creates definition.

Never apply it all the way around your eye. Start wear the inside of you pupil begins and draw outwards. Also try lining the corner of your eye by applying a bit of liner to the outter corner of your eyelid. (Cateyes made easy)

And remember, take your time doing it, and you'll look great!
So, you are just starter, read useful tips here.
before you do any of the eye makeup itself, make sure that you dust some translucent powder over your closed eyelids. If you have brown hair and eyes, try a soft pale green shadow over the entire lid (use your finger to sweep it across lightly), and use a nice coppery brown (just dot it on) on the outer edge of your lids (the side farthest from your nose). Use a a dark brown eyeliner, definitly NOT a liquid, if you have problems with smudges, and finish up with some mascara on your upper lashes only.

    * Eye Makeup Tips

    http://homebeautytips.blogspot.com/2006/鈥?/a>
if it goes away quickly try adding a light foundation it will help it stick to the eye lids. since you have trouble with smudging i suggest powder shadows. start by applying a light color over the entire lid. (you can buy a lot of shadows that come with three blending colors in one which is great for beginners) use the med color in the middle of the lid and the darkest one at the bottom along the eye lash line. as for liners they can be tricky i generally just use black or a dark green make sure your pencil is as sharp as possible the easiest way to apply is to pull the skin from the outer corner of your eye to make the skin under your eye taught apply a thin line along the entire top lid and half way across the line of the bottom. stay as close to the lash line as possible. apply it before applying the shadow. once you figure out your skin tone the easiest way to shop for colors for your skin tone is to shop from a line that has a code for warm cool or neutral. neutral colors obviously are for anyone if you have a cool skin tone just buy the ones for that skin tone and vice versa. avon codes their shades for warm cool and neutral and their make up is pretty good. they also have a lot of sales where you can buy one get one item half off.
i think you should try putting on cream eyeshadow, and then apply powder eyeshadow so then the powder will stick and last longer

What makeup looks good with green eyes, pale skin, and some freckles?

Like does anyone have any makeup tips to enhance my green eyes? Like what color eye shadow should I use? Glitter? Eyeliner? What makeup looks good with green eyes, pale skin, and some freckles?
You are pale, so blackeyeliner may look to dark for you. Try brown on bottom lashes. For eyeshadow, use a gold liner on your top lid. Do not cover the lid, just use a thin stripe across thepart of the lid that meets the upper lashes. Follow it around the inside of your eye ,(toward your nose), and down to the bottom line of lashes,(still toward the nose). Do nt cover the bottom with gold liner, just a dot toward the nose. Use brown mascara, and a bit of green mascara on the tips of the lashes. Make it suble, not wild. A natural mauve liner would look great on your lips. Smooth a bit of gloss on your lips, using your finger,(not a gloss applicator), becaue that would be way too much gloss. It's pretty easy. Subtle is the key. I wish I had green eyes! Mine are very dark brown. Too dark for colored contacts to show up.

Good luck! What makeup looks good with green eyes, pale skin, and some freckles?
I would say a light olive colour eyeshadow with avons curling mascara. Maybe a bit of concealer and a brush of blush. A very pale pink lipstick to top it offf and you ae good to go. I would say to use a light brown eyeliner on only the top eyelid and no glitter.
Use a brown/black eyeliner, preferably a powder versus a stick. Add eyeshadow that has hints of bronze in it. It will really pop the color of your eyes without looking artificial. If your eyebrows are light, use eyebrow shadow a couple of shades darker than your hair. Use blush and lipstick with warm peachy/orange tones
black eyline. a nice smooth line under and over your eye will make your eyes pop.

    black eyeliner adn green eyeshadow
Wow,i sound just like u!Anyway,i would wear a green eyeshadow, not to dark and not to light or a eyeshadow with bronze,do not put ur eyeshadow above the indent of ur eye.For eyeliner,do not use black,it is toooooo dark.I used to use dark brown eyeliner, now i switched to a lighter green eyeliner, which would look good on you.For your lips wear a pinkish light lipgloss, mine is from american eagle. If you wanna wear lipstick then wear a light color, dont use dark red or any of that. For glitter, put a pinch of glitter on each side of your eye,do NOT put it on ur cheeks or forehead! And if u paint ur nails then use a pink or blues.

Make sure u wash ur make up off before bed...unless u want breakouts....And if u wear cover up,that cause more pimples if u keep it on over night,so to get all the stuff off ur face just use a hot towel a wipe it.

To take the make up off ur eyes, use coldcream,i use Ponds Coldcream which works awesome.Hope i helped.
From a mans point of veiw... ';WHY MESS WITH PERFECTION';? Too much is to much, and too little is too little. A Guy doesnt like to look at too much make-up on a woman and too little is not enough... So keep it real cause it sounds like you have natural beauty already!
Lavender shades and mocha eye shadow colors.
    neutral
Just get naked! That will make u look irresistible!
black eyeliner, green eyeshadow. you could also just do black and grey. there are lots of shades of green out there that you can blend and stuff.
black or brown eyeliner, black mascera, and darker colored eyeshadows. i only know this because my face is just like that =]

    have fun!
Light purple. You don't want anything too dark since you have pale skin.

No glitter...you already have freckles so you'll just be competing with them if you add glitter, and it'll distract the eye. Skip the eyeliner and just use a lightly, slightly shimmery purple. Finish off with some dark brown mascara and a neutral lipstick or gloss.

    **ADDED Details**

I notice a lot of people are saying blues and neutral tones and also dark colors...

First the dark colors. If you have dark makeup on pale skin with light hair and light skin, all you'll see is the makeup, you won't see anything else, and you want to bring your eyes out more since you have light hair and skin, they'll be more noticable.

As for blues and neutral tones. They are a No. When you're trying to play up your eyes you need a color that is the polar opposite of your Iris. In this case your polar opposite is purple, and since you are fair you would want a lighter purple. It doesn't have to be pale. It could be a light-medium mauve color. When you do green, blue or other neutral tones with your eyes they're just going to blend in. You're probably thinking that's what they're supposed to do. No. You want your makeup to blend with your skin so it looks natural, yes. But you don't want your eyes to not be noticable. And as always...less makeup is more. Also I said the brown masacara because dark is too harsh for your coloring.
No glitter sorry. I would say a pale lipstick, lip gloss to make ur lips shiny, light dusting of powder (u never want the look that ur tryin to cover up stuff) maybe a little peach blush on the apples of ur cheeks, brown eyeliner, a little black mascara u don't need much. It sounds like ur really pretty so i think you don't need alot of makeup. You can use just a little. Or white eyeshadow just a little to brighten eyes!
I believe it is Almay has makeup that enhances green eyes: eyeliner, eye shadow, and mascara. I have the eye shadow because I have green in my eyes and wanted to bring the green out at times.

I bet you are beautiful without it though.
Alot of people use a dark eye liner under their eye to make whatever eye color they have pop out. Everytime i use it , it makes my eyes look like their light brown and i have dark brown eyes. You should also use your own eye color makeup. Both of them contrasting off of each other makes your eyes look outstanding.

hope this helps :)What color eye makeup and blush will look good on me? Friday I am going back to a medium cool blonde color?
You can go more natural than you are used to! You won't need as much black eyeliner or deep blush, you can use light brown and pinkier colors.

You'll just have to experiment, but i think that purple eyeshadow will make your eyes pop! You can change from lipstick to lip gloss now because your face won't be competing with your hair as much
i think like a bluey, green colour for your eyes would look good :)
