How can i make my eye makeup last longer and look better?

i have relatively small green eyes that i like to make the focus of my face with my makeup. because i have small eyes, i dont like to use a lot of black eyeliner but it seems like thats the only way to make my eyes really pop. unfortunately, after probably an hour and a half-2 hours i notice my eye makeup wearing away. it sort of forms a small rim right under my eyes but thats not my main issue. eyeshadow is the same thing, it wears off extremely easily. is there anything i can do to get a more dramatic, lasting look?How can i make my eye makeup last longer and look better?
use a powder foundation over your eyes and on that use some nice eye shadow.. preferably single color...which matches your dress.. if you think if is not staying long use shimmer over the shadow.. this helps the shadow to stay longer...


use liquid eyeliner on the top lash and eye pencil for the bottom lash.. its looks lovely and liquuid liner stays for longer time too... preferably black, brown or midnight blue.. greys are good for night parties...


use one coat of mascara over the lashes... this should make you look pretty and stay for longer too..

you should use that unstoppable eyeliner it really stays on for a long time cause i even sleep in it sometimes like when i take a nap and it's still on there so try that.
to make it last longs... go to MAC or anywhere else and buy a liquid eyeshadow. Make sure it matches you skin colour because you just put your powder eye shadow. Good luck and hope this helps. Also try the long lasting waterproof products. Good luck!
surprisingly, quality of the product wont make much difference. the oil and sweat on your skin, naturally causes makeup to ';disappear'; throughout the day.





My secret: apply translucent face powder on your eyelids before applying shadow. it reduces the amount of oil, while holding the shadow on longer.

Splurge on higher quality makeup. Go to a makeup counter or store, like Sephora. Use a primer on your eyes, it helps. You can find all of those things there. And if you need help with colors or anything, just ask. They're all makeup artists, they know!
