How can I do dramatic eye makeup while still looking (somewhat) natural?

put on a dark shade eyeliner but put it on lightly, then take dark brown eyeshadow or gold or whatever color you want and put it on your eyelid. when you do that, put it on somewhat heavy towards your eyelashes and lighter as you go up. then take a very accurate brush and put a thin (but still visable) line of eyeshadow underneath your eye, DIRECTLY under your eyeliner. dont leave space between them or it wil look very wierd. then put on a little bit of mascara (top %26amp; bottom, but do the bottom lightly) and youre good to go! it will look hot i promise. How can I do dramatic eye makeup while still looking (somewhat) natural?

browns and natural colors, and the smokey look doesnt use real eye liner, it uses eyeshadow as eye liner. covergirl.com or other make up website can help you do this.
use eyeliner, and neutral shimmer eye shadows
Virtual Makeover is great. You can play with colors and find a look you will love. Then it shows you how to apply your new look. Just click the link below.
use a kohl eyeliner it adds alittle drama also if you wanna stay real natural use a dark brown on the lower part of your lid then use a lighter about it then use a pale brown by the arch of your eyebrown to highlight it.

hope i helped.
Eyeliner its a magical tool and have datker shiner eyeshadow to the outside if ur yes ans and have a light eyeshadow up to ur eyebrow and a dark eyeshdow in the creas of ur eye
Practice practice practice!

If you want to be dramatic, go with dark eyeshadow in a shimmery brown, not black! Line your eyes with a coppery or bronze liner (BELOW the lashes on the lower lid) and then see what works for you with the brown shadows.

Try pallets of 3 colors and layer them, just one, whatever you want.

The kicker, for the natural yet dramatic look: go without mascara!

You'll have gorgeous, smoky eyes, yet not the wide-eyed look of mascara.
You seem to have an oxymoron here. You want dramatic makeup, yet a natural look? Impossible. The best advice I can give you if you want drama, is just blend, blend, blend. Make sure you didn't put too much on or the color is way too dark or bright. Go outside and look at yourself or carry a mirror to a window to see your face in natural light.
The easiest and most natural thing to do is to only use mascara on your top lashes (and make it 2 layers) - you may not notice but it immediately makes you more mysterious and dramatic and if you do a tiny little flick at the side of your eyes with your eyeliner (with liquid eyeliner, making the line thick in the middle and thinner towards the edge) that works really well too!!

Good luck!
