Heres my opinion dark makeup can look good on blondes, but it has to be done very carefully.





And with the proper colors, my advice is please stay away from harsh black, it doent look good and can come off trashy, a smoke color can look really great though. A grey and an eggplant/ plum color can look wonderful as well.





Copper and gold ( like Benefit's Gilded pencil) look great, but i think the prettiest makeup on blondes is pinks and peahces with a simply black mascara, its fresh, simply and really gorgeous.

well, it is said that brown eyeshadow brings out the blue in the eyes.


lol, that had nothing to do with your question but.. the point is that the dark brings out the light

im a blond myself and i tried dark eye makeup for the first time and i thought i looked really bad and then i showed my friends and they loved it.


i wear dark makeup all the time now and i even have the BEST boyfriend in the world.

Personally, too much is just too much. with blondes i would try brown black eye shadows and mascaras or mix it up with an indigo eye liner and brown black mascara. Having to much dark eye make up with your hair and skin are already fairly light can cause to much focus and more attention than needed.


not saying you shouldn't wear any dark make up. cuz dark is hott.


but just dont over do it.


so long answer short.. keep it simple when playing with darks.

if you are a natural blonde and you have blue eyes.. hell yes!!


black and other dark color bring out the cool colors (blue, green, purple? eyes) very well!


it doesn't look trashy unless u put it on wrong OR you put to much on..

it depends, sometimes dark makeup can look good on blondes, and depending how much they put on and what colors can make them VERY trashy, example, Pam anderson, she can look pretty trashy sometimes with her makeup cause she tends to where too much on her face and eyes
yes it looks good...i feel soft colours look really nice on blondes...and whoever puts on dark makeup for the first time thinks it doesnt look nice even though it does...you just have to get used to it
i think it just depends on the shape of your eyes and your skin tone. Dark colors on blondes usually okay when used very lightly. personally i would go light.
