I would have to say blue. My eyes are almost a gray, and when I put on gray eyeshadow and black eyeliner, somehow they become a darker, more profound blue, and I really like how pretty they look when I do it.

I think any color of eyes can look great with smokey eye makeup, you just have to find the colour tone that looks best with the eye colour. For example, blue eyes can look great with darker brown colours, and green eyes can look good with browns or greys, and brown eyes can look smashing with dark plums. Try and see!
