I normally don't wear makeup, but I'd like to start wearing a little this coming school year. I'm 14, so I'd like it to be natural, yet enhance my eyes. (Which are my favorite physical trait.)
Here's the color of my eyes:

I was wearing a bit of eyeliner on my top lid that day.
I have tan skin, but you can't really tell by my crappy camera phone's pictures. Oh, and I have dark hair. I don't know if those matter at all. =]
And in case facial structure matters when deciding how to apply blush or whatever, this pic. shows my face structure the best (but it's really bad quality and the lighting is weird )

Anyway, what makeup should I wear? I have acne-prone skin, also. And can you give me tips on applying it because I'm absolutely horrible at that. Thanks a lot! What color/style makeup would look good, enhance my eyes, but still look natural? (With pic. for reference.)?
Okay... so you want makeup that enhances you eyes and looks natural, so the one thing above all you DONT want to do is use heavy eyeliner/mascara on you bottom lashes, it shrinks your eyes, makes the smallest lines pop and looks really unnatural.

For me, i start with a i use brownish-black eyeliner (Maybelline) on my upper lashes. I also have an eyelash curler. If you do get a curler, you want to curl at the base of you lashes for 20 seconds, then about 3/4ths up you lashes for about five seconds. Then I use a light eyeshadow (but I'm pretty white) and apply brownish-black mascara (full and soft). Since you have acne-prone skin, i wouldn't suggest foundation, but you could use facial powder.(It doesn't look like you need much makeup anyway.) I like Shiny-licious (Maybelline) lip gloss, because it adds color and shine while still looking natural.
So, like i said earlier, I'm a German-Irish-other stuff mix, so I'm probably lighter-skinned then you, and you might want to get darker colors then i suggested.
Hope this helped! What color/style makeup would look good, enhance my eyes, but still look natural? (With pic. for reference.)?
i think you shud wear a little black eye liner on your bottom lid and clear mascara with gold-ish (liquid) eyeshadow and natrual pink lipgloss and i dont really think u shud wear blush
I would try a light brown eyeshadow .

before doing any makeup.. apply a thin layer of an oil free moisturizser all over your face!!
Well im 14 too, so i go for that same look.
since your eyes are naturally gorgeous, id go for a bronzy or goldish color, and sweep it across your eyelid, and if the color is darker than your skin tone, then dont make it go all the way to your eyelids-- it wont look natural if you do do that. For a natural look, id use an eyeshadow brush instead of those cushion-looking applicators that usually come with eyeshadow. if you get eyeshadow that has a few different colors in it, take the middle one and use that as your ';base'; and put that only on your lid. take the darkest one and lightly brush the corner of your eyelid for an extra effect. to make your eyes look bright, take the lightest one and put some in your inner corner of your eye and sweep some on your browbone.
for blush, i dont think you really need any, but if you want to use some, use a honeyish pinkish color so it looks naturally flushed. :) all your have to do it smile, and LIGHTLY sweep some blush on the apples of your cheeks...
if you dont want the color to look intense, then use a large blush brush so it looks natural..
i hope this helps!!
well i would wear a brown or mybe a white or silver. its not tht hard, just close ur eye ur on n jus apply as much as u think needed. =] then o also i think green would look rly good on u. also wut i think would look good is mybe put a lil brown eyeliner(so itsnot harsh) then mybe dust just a tad bit of green eyeshadow under ur eyes. also i would go w/ a soft plush n apply it 2 the ';bones'; of ur cheek. b carfeul not 2 use 2 much! =]
just play around w/ it and have fun untill u find something u rly like. thats wut i do =D hope i helped! (dont use foundation, it will make u break out, b careful not 2 wear 2 much makeup it will clog ur pores)
ok, you are so cute first off haha!!
Second. Here are some pictures of colors that would look nice on you. and the last attachment is my tutorials on how i put on my eye make up. It might help you...
well first of all what colors do you like..when ever poeple come to me asking what colors look best on them i always say it doesn't matter what colors look best it's what colors you like..then by taking the colors you like i can create a style that will look good on you and that you can feel great about the colors your wearing.......i would recomomend maybe light colors for you like purple mixed with cream to creat a light light puprle that will show your eyes off even more..so pick colors you like and mix them with like creams or whites..i recomned creams they look more natural....and second when applying you should always do it in layers the lighter color on the top or on bottom which even you perfer..i usually do lights on the top and darks on the bottom..it looks more natural on me.... just do a light layer of the color you want on the bottom and then do the other color on top of the other one on the bottom.....if you want just 1 color then mix the 2 colors together and apply a light cote that way you dont look to junky....and use one of these brushes

also try brown eyeshadow with cream and black/brown eyeliner with some mascara...i cant tell if you need blush or not because the pic is blurry
gold would look good too
Hello dear! You're cute :) If you're going to wear foundation, and you've got bad skin, you should invest in a good one. It will last for a long time, and the cheap stuff is only going to make you break out. I'd recommend a mineral foundation, preferably an all-natural one (try Origins or Bare Minerals--if you go to either of these counters in a department store they will help you pick the right shade!) That being said, I don't wear foundation every day, only when my skin is particularly bad. I just use a little concealer stick most of the time. My favorite concealer is Origins Quick, Hide! You can't even feel it. And it doesn't sweat off--good for summer.
For a natural look, I'd go with a gel blush. My personal favorite is from Revlon and it's called Pinch Me. Just squeeze out a tiny bit--smaller than a pea--and put it on the apple of your cheek (smile--the roundest part of your cheek is the apple!). Rub it outward in circular motions. Don't panic, it does look very bright when it first comes out of the bottle, but you can barely see it after you rub it in. This gives a really natural glow; it looks like it's coming from under your skin.
Next...eyeshadow! My favorite part. I don't wear eyeliner often, but when I do I tend to use neutral colors, like a cocoa brown or charcoal gray. I like Rimmel or Physician's Formula, the kind that click up instead of a pencil. Just basic, neutral tones will do. I'm a bit more adventurous with eyeshadow--I love funky colors--but for natural, a simple two-tone brown set will do great. Try Maybelline Expert Wear Eyeshadow Duos in Browntones. Very natural but just emphasize a little, and they will stay put while you're in school all day. The darker shade goes on your eyelid, fading out toward the crease. Then take the lighter shade and put it on from just below your crease (overlapping with the dark shade) up to your browbone. Fade it out before you get to your eyebrow. It's so light, it's easy.
Put on mascara after eyeshadow. I use Clinique or Revlon, but a TON of people swear by Maybelline Great Lash. I'd go with a waterproof dark brown--black doesn't look as natural, although it works too. :) A tip--use the pointy end of the wand to do the lashes at the outside corners of your eyes individually. It'll make them look extra-long.
Finally, lips. I'd stay away from lipliner, as it almost never looks natural. For you, a light gloss is probably best during the day. My favorite is Rimmel Vinyl Gloss in East End Snob--it's pretty translucent, just adds a nice, light pink shine, and it isn't too sticky. And it smells great! I've also heard good things about Covergirl Wetslicks--if you go to their website they'll pick out shades based on your coloring.
Have fun! I'm sure you'll look great ;)
P.S. I'm giving you websites to show you what these products look like, but I would NOT buy them online, especially the Maybelline and Covergirl stuff--they're incredibly expensive online but really very cheap in Wal-Mart, Walgreens or Target.
